Old favorite: putting a face to a name.

I know I've already posted here, and it was only a few months ago, but I would like to share this photograph.

I went on a steam-train journey and I basically added a hat and wooden briefcase to my suit in an attempt to look like an English gentleman from the 1950's.

How did I do?

Kieran.

i assure you it isn't . My wife will tell you she had to climb the steps of that GP30 at the Arkansas Railway Museum to take that shot.

Just kidding. Nice pic! At first glance you looked more like an English gentleman than an Arkansaser...

It's Ar-KAN-san. LOL! I didn't decide that's what we're called. I don't see why they don't just call us Ar-kan-SAWYERS and get it over with!

Here's another couple shots of me & the the GP30

I'm the little guy standing on the foot-board. ;)
Was that engine under steam when that shot was taken. If it was you are one lucky person. :)

Missing the monocle and pipe, Kieran. :hehe:
I said 1950's, not 1920's! :hehe:
(Might as well add a top hat to that list instead of the bowler hat in the photograph!)

Hi Kieran, a nice black umbrella would top that off! Good show, what! Cheers, Rosalia:wave:
Why, of course! I shall keep that in mind next time I get all dressed up in my suit. :D
(And now I'm off to an overpriced antiques store to find a 50's umbrella. :p)
