This is where i work, and the locomotive i drive between Stavanger and Kristiansand, in Norway.

The locomotive, called El14 was built in norway based on the swiss Ae6/6.
The locomotive was built between 1968-1973.

The engineers here in norway has a kind of love/hate relationship with it, it's a smooth ride on smooth tracks but will tell you when something is wrong with the tracks, usually by wagging or jumping around a bit.
They have an awesome reliability record and gets the job done.
however creature comforts are a bit lacking. Though i think they are good workhorses.

By the end of the year we will get new 4 axle Bombardier traxx locomotives. It will be interresing to see if they can match these old workhorses.
I have my doubts...

No no father, I was being cautious of that. I just saw on vikipedia that railion is actually a cargo company so I will not be winning this league anyway. I might be like the child and run away instead of play.
