Me with the motorman in front of the Dallas street car at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine. This gentlemen taught me how to operate a trolley and supervised as I ran the car for a round trip on the line.

You and me look somewhat similar I might say. :p

I don't have a pic, I wouldn't put it up anyway, I am currently having a terrible acne breakout at the moment. Maybe later this week, if this soap works. :hehe: :o

Cheers,

Just got back from a cabride on the Naugatuck and figured I'd post the couple pictures I had taken. The railroad was running U23B 2203 and FL9 2019 back to back today so I got to ride in both's cabs and got a good look at 2019's insides when I walked through to switch ends. Kind of an honor to get a cabride, even more of an honor to get one in an FL9.

Thought I'd better expose myself having been here for so long. The photo was taken at Campbelltown Miniature Railway Narre Warren North in Victoria Australia. This privately owned 7.25" gauge railway is open to the public every Sunday and on Wednesdays during school holidays. The locomotive is a model of the Edward Henty scaled at 2 inches to the foot. This was was one of the locomotives that hauled the Spirit of Progress from Melbourne to Albury NSW from late 1937 til the late 50's. The locomotives were eventually scrapped, but eight carriages from the original train still exist in working order.
