Oceny's bonus content.

Possibly but that's just the way it works. If they offered it generally those who pre-ordered the game would be annoyed that they could have got it without pre-ordering.

I have to ask! Why is offering a "pre-order bonus" a scummy business practice?

I would have thought that everyone that pre-ordered and got their free "bonus pack" would be highly delighted. Something for nothing. What's scummy about that?

Cheers, Mac...
Number 1:

The quality of the game is very, very low. At the time of release, the game costed over 50 dollars. On top of that, the optimization, compared to what it was in sp1, was very, very, bad. If there were to be an icing on top of that cake, it would be that N3V largely mis judged how much power would be needed to run T:ANE. This led a lot of people with weak computers, such as myself, to belive that their intel integrated graphics lap top could run T:ANE at 60fps. This was obviously not the case.

Number 2:

With that in mind, to have the audacity to take two beautiful steam locomotives contructed by someone as skilled at modeling as Ocemy, and add them in as an exclusive for those who preordered the sh*t game (excuse my language but this is an issue I feel strongly about), is a very, very scummy thing to do. And that is why I'm never buying another Trainz release again.

If N3V wants my money, they need to earn it. They need to make me want to spend money on the next release, rather then rushing it out half baked and using a service pack as an excuse to finish a game one year later, then ruining with a second service pack.

Well said with SP2 killing the game again (as that's true!), as the game was fixed with SP1 HF4, no idea "what bugs" they were having. N3V had to ruin the game again with bugs with the stupid SP2 series. This has me thinking, how bad is their next game going to be.... as if its going to be worse than it is now, I might just switch over to Railworks and who cares about the DLC, but at least its not loaded with bugs and RD is supported with later versions as far as I know.

I can now safely say that the game is no longer called Trainz A New Era, but more called Trainz A Buggy Era....

Yeah facts. But Trains Simulator/Railworks has its own set of problems. Theres to little to do, and its just not as open and free as T:ANE is.

Ok so I PMed Ocemy about the 4-6-2 and he said he will be making more steam locomotives.
