NYC subway Route

To do the config just go to file- new in CMP, thne paste all the files in there from the one I've given you EXCEPT the config file. Open the config file it gives you and copy an dpaste all the extra things that is in my config file (not the KUID otherwise it'll show up as mine.

To get it to the right size just keep increasing the size and re-exporting until it shows up as a size your happy with in-game. I'd start of by doubling the size and seeing how that looks, maybe doubling it again, and then increase it by small amounts until your happy.

Phil

Ok I will wait and see when you send the config file, and thank you so much on helping me on this. Thanks a million, but I will see if it all works of what you side and do the steps as well.

@ExpressLine3Train "You can't find this platform any were on DSL or other website for trainz, there is no link to it, well not yet. I have made this platform and it still in the works of trying to get it shown in Trainz. Made this in 3dsmax."

What i was asking was what site did you make the platform on and where can i find a link to the website?

I didn't go on any web site to fix this. I done this all on my own on 3Dsmax, As in building it and putting the texture on there.

I don't see why it doesn't work for you. Whe I got your model into trainz I converted it into gmax (to apply textures because im not confident in 3ds max) and exported it from gma

I don't remember anyone in the past having problems with 3ds max though :o

I think I have to remake the mods, it really sucks to do that. I really not sure what is going on though.

What type of picture files I can use for mapping textures?
and what is the size of the mesh it should be to be seen in the game?
Is there a way to prevent the that mesh error on Trainz CMP?

I don't know about the error
The size needed depends on what scale your software is set up for
the allowed textures are .bmp .tga and .jpg although .tga is the most common

Phil

Got it in-game. ExpressLine3Train- You'll need to increase the size and re-export as it's tiny in-game

I've used my own textures as you didn't send me nay to use:

I don't know why its not working for me. It seem to work on Trainz 2009 game. But how come I can't get it to work on Trainz TC.

When building a mesh for trains, what are the few things I need to know?????

I have build the mod from ground up, like the tracks and the test stations.

1) I build them from scratch
2) I put the Mapping of the photo that suppose to go on (but im not sure if it that causing the problem)
3) I put the parts to getter as bonding the pieces together and than
4) put it through IM. file than on CMP.

But yet it still not working. Any clues or is there any other way I can do this?? or should I use Trainz 2006 game for my mods or what???? . I might rebuild the hole things if it comes to that because its been telling me on CMP that the mesh been having problems showing up. I'm just losing my mind over this, sorry its gets very frustrating if I can't get any thing to work right. :(:(:(:(:'(

Ok, I think I might have found the problem why they are not showing. I did a test on the mesh I started to build "of the train station". So here are the two photos. I would guess there is a problem with the UV mapping of the texture that keeps the hole mesh from showing in the game. At this point you see now there is no texture on the mesh, in the Asset file I only have config.txt. and the station.im in it. that is what making this show with out the texture. If im right about the texture UV mapping, is there a right way of putting the texture on the mesh?

Take a look. (I will re-size the mesh after its all set and done with the texture)

I use Autodesk Inventor to make stations. Then, use a simple program like VIZ to turn it to .3ds and import it into Gmax. Then I texture it.

Wow, you were having trouble with stations and I missed it? My apologies!

I did make these(the ones found on the Brighton Line)

These aren't splines, they're just 25 meter sections.

Its cool, I have been trying to ask around for week or two, Only a few had there try on it on the station I wanted to put in Trainz TC. One was able to get the mesh to show but they didn't know why it was not showing for me in trainz. So I just want my own way trying to figure out what can be the problem and I would guess the texturing UV Mapping was the problem, but now I know how to fix that I can get on with my build.

Awesome Station btw, that is the only station you made there? I'm going to make multiple station for Express and local tracks. But it looks like you done great on the local track.
