Yeah, sure. Why not?

I hate to be rude, but unless this post is to announce that you are either starting, or have started some portion of said route, why are you posting this?

Many people have started building or hinted at working on realistic NSW Cityrail routes, but thus far none have seen the light of day, except in the case of people who have for one reason or another, chosen not to release their works, or have given up completely.

The only people i can think of offhand who have any Cityrail routes in production are Deadly, 3830 and Steve123, and as far as i am aware, none are near completion, and it is unknown, by me at least, whether any will be completed/released any time soon.

Again, apologies for sounding rude, but there will be others who will not be so kind, frustrated and disappointed as they most probably are, at the promise of any Cityrail route being 'near completion', 'ready for release' etc.

Edit: Kind of like politicians in the real world promising rail lines in Sydney, when you think about it!:hehe:

2nd edit: Also, no product appears to be registered to you. Do you even own a copy of Trainz?

Toward the end of the year I'll be resuming work on my BM route, although there's much to be done. As I've only had access to a small EEE PC netbook here, I've only been able to work on low poly assets.

I have no idea if the screens are still burried somewhere in the Aussie shots forum, but it's DEM based and has the mainline laid out and a few other things, such as the odd few sidings et al. I'm really not looking forward to doing Penrith and its yard though!

I can't work on the route itself though, as it is stuck in Australia, and I'm currently in the UK.

It won't exactly be done quickly unless I can eventually get a horde of helpers, but it'll eventually either be finished, or finished to a state in which others could polish it off. I work at a slow pace, considering I have other work to do, and sometimes I'm lazy. At least many of the station buildings and a few other 'landmarks' have been progressing well, although until my new laptop arrives I won't be able to make or tests the assets.

It would be nice in a bit over a year to either extend it to either Bathurst/further to get closer to the Southlines routes, or take it to Central - with extremely low poly and well optimised buildings of course! But those two notions are really pipe dreams right now.

Either way, I certainly haven't forgotten about the route! Just gotta get back to Aus to either live or a holiday to get all the progress I'd made.
