NRC Sounds

Is there a way to either shorten the amount of time the bell rings at crossings, or just disable it completely? I really love these NRC crossings but some of them have really irritable bell sounds that continuously play for the entire duration of activation. It wouldn't be so bad if they just dinged for 20 seconds while going down and that was all.

Have you ever thought about turning the speaker volume down?

Of course, but then I can't hear my loco horn which I like.

Yea I know Auran turned the horn sound down in 2010. I can't even hear it in the cab anymore. But I can hear it all over the route when out of the cab, even when there is no train in site. On the crossing's, help is on the way.

Lol yeah it's pretty funny how that works. I was in surveyor the other day and could hear my locos idling some 40 baseboards away, louder then when I was right next to them! :hehe:
