Not authorised to openBluesky Interactive Content?

Confused
I have recently decided to transfer my TRS2006 content to TC3.

This involves transfering the built-in content via the method described at the Trainz Classics 3 website under 'Hints and Tips'.

When I try to open the Bluesky Interacitve content, it gives the following message:

"Error: Not authorised to open asset <kuid:60349:21012> for editing"

Even worse, many of my routes I am transfering use these assets.

My knowledge of things these days tells me that Bluesky Interactive have done this to prevent plagarism: something I would never do.

Can I copy these files and make the routes work?

I remember johnwhelan telling me about transfering the .ja files to the TC3 folder. Will this work?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, you'll have to use the method of transfering the .ja files.

Thanks. Only one problem. I just transfered all .ja files and various built-in files did not transfer across/or had problems (e.g. engines/rolling stock not displaying in sessions) when put into TC3. Any way of getting the complete set of TRS2006 built-in content?

Hello,

If you go onto the Trainz Classics website, their was a tutorial I think to help peeps move their .ja TRS2006 folders across into TC3......

Have a look on here, there were also some threads on the forum for this issue as well, do a search.....

Iirc there was a stipulation I think in the contract between Blue Sky Interactive and Auran, that nobody could clone or edit their content, which of course is their legal right.....

Usually because they have an error or fault in the version you are trying to use them in. Each version of Trainz has stricter error checking than the version before.
