North American Routes

Ive grown bored of the built in routes and building my own was too time consuming and extremely unrealistic. Does anyone know where i can find some North American freight hauling routes. Preferably with point to point operation like Tidewater Point Rail. With railyards and hopefully a classification hump yard. And these have to be for TS12.

I'm currently working on a Fictional Union Pacific route that is probably going to span about 30 miles. Search the forums for WIP UP Steven Subdivision. My route has a yard but not a hump yard also I'm building my route in TS12.

Hmm UMR 2013 has a ton of things to do, it is roughly 500 mile route with a lot of industries setup and is finished go take a look over here. Even thought that's for multiplayer you can still just run it for your own enjoyment without multiplayer no problems.

The 'WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode' works well in TS2010 and TS12 in Native Mode only. All content not on the DLS is available through links on the route page. Click on my sig below to access it.

The USA Prototype Multiplayer Route has a 32 track yard 200 to 250 INDs About 10 Stations set up to load. Industries are set to where you spot cars and they will load at a pre-set time. There are Logs loading & unloading Containers Loading & unloading, & coal loading Too. There are documents In USA multiplayer file brower on Team Speak 3 ---66.45.231.18---
This route run's in a clockwise direction from Armour back to Armour 63 miles with 5 branches to other Industries.
Come join us in a session are start your own,or quick drive with no one joining you.
Just Look the route over if you like it then have fun.Any questions ask on TS or Ichat in trainz.
To get the Route & session just DL the Session <kiud:105915:100235>(first)it will pick up all the dependences & the route. (everything is Built-in or on the DLS) After installing check for missing dependences if some are missing besure to DL them.

Try "IndustRail TS2010" from the Download Station.

A few of the assets are faulty in TS12 and consequently will not show, but the the route itself will still work and look as intended.

If you want maps of the route before you download to see what it's like, use the free RapidShare download option after a mouse click here:

I'm in the process of updating it to TS12 standards. There are videos of the work thus far (best viewed full screen and in HD), but the the TS10 route, if you download it into TS12, looks substantially the same:

if this was not already mentioned
the"North American Grain Shortline" that is on the DLS is a nice one
but it has some foliage spam, so turn settings down

Re Beattie, there's a non-multiplayer version of the UMR 2013 available for download. This version has grass splines for a more realistic feel.

My Thompson and Western v2 route was designed for MP, but you could very easily create your own session or quick drive it. It has nearly 100 miles of mainline and inculdes a major yard on one end that has a recieving yard, hump yard, and a departure yard. I'm not really sure what you like in a route, but I think you may like mine. Also, I saw some other great routes listed above. You may also want to check out the Montana Rail Link route. It is over 200 miles long, but it doesn't have a hump yard.

Try my "Cotton Belt Route" hosted bt TPR:

It doesn't have a hump yard unfortunately, because it's almost impossible to "kick" cars in Ts12.

Also, there's my "Ozark Valley RR" which is on the DLS.

You may not like my routes however because they are fictional.

Cheers,

Dave

Just downloaded it. Looks neat!!! I found that by lowering the tree detail, I got some pretty acceptable frame rates and the trees still looked pretty good.

I would like very much to see an IndustRail route for TS12 because my TrainzMac does not like compatibility mode. If Philskene does not use too many TS12 built-ins I can probably run the route on my Mac. BTW, where can I find those steel products to download? There is a pointer to pierreren 2, kuid 427808:10142, but I can't find it on the DLS, neither by name nor by kuid.
Also, WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode runs fine after some help from Jrfolco.

Dralex, try IndustRail TS2010,<kuid2:69871:2067:1> which is made for 2010 native mode, should run on a Mac without compatibility mode.
