Norfolk & Western 611?

one of my favorite locomotives! I rode on some of the excursions before they stopped running it, I was too young to remember it, but I know I was there. I went to visit it around Christmas time, used to live in Roanoke. I wish I had some talent for making trainz content. please someone model this engine!

I think this one is built for MSTS...but at least someone has shown interest in this locomotive

I have at least two side drawings of this locomotive (that I raided the internet for!). I guess since it is in such high demand I could add it to my projects list, don't get too excited though.

Cheers,
John

i know someone started one but they never finished it. I'm assuming they gave up due to no updates for over a month.

that is a outstanding steam locomotive for trainz now if only the real one could be out there thundering down the tracks like it did when it was built in the roanoke shops by the railroad itself in the 1950s hauling trains like other steam locomotives and to all of you who would like to see the 611 on the tracks again, I agree she is in excellent condition but at the same time it is ashame that NS terminated the steam program because of two accidents in the swamp and it cost them money but they were the ones responsible for the 611 and the 1218's operation anyway and I don't care what NS thinks But I say at least the 3 N&W locomotives including 1 of the scrapyard locos, the 1218 and the queen of steam the 611 back on the rails where they belong and besides they have treated the 1218 and 611 bad enough they need to be running on the rails not in the museum rusting away!:(
