Last one I've heard of was Ben's 611, but I haven't seen any updates for a while. Then again, he likes to surprise us with his creations. I'd say go for it, it couldn't hurt.
Which version is better in your opinion? Is the payware version worth it or is Ben's version just as good?

I will get some pictures up for everybody to decide What I think is they both are well made the only really big difference is the paint gloss the paywares paint looks amazing I will put up some pictures to show you what I mean
I wonder if NS will ever run #611 again? They are bringing back a new steam program this year using 3 locomotives from TVRM in Chattanooga, TN. I wonder if they will also allow NKP #765 to pull excursions on their tracks? They did allow the #765 to deadhead on NS tracks to get to excursion sites on short line or regional class II or III railroads. But, perhaps now they will allow #765 to pull public excursions on NS itself since they're "steam friendly" again?

Maybe the NW 611 will come back if they can get the funding for it as for NW 1218 it need to be rebuilt before its up and running 611 is in very good condition
