Noobie consist question

I know how to go into Surveyor and make up a consist and place it, then save the session. When I go into that session, my train is there.

What I'd like to do, in order to avoid having to constantly re-make the same train over and over for different routes and sessions, is to be able to make up a consist and put it into my Surveyor list or Main list of consists. Also, is there a way to go to one of those consists I've already got in session somewhere, name it as a particular consist and get it into those same Surveyor or Main lists? It'd just be nice to grab a particular train from a list and drop it into the session or route I'm working with. I'm sure it's done...I just don't know how yet. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance....

when you make all of the consist you will see 2 buttons on the tab with all the trains, then click the one on the right and that is your consist menu, to save your consist then look at the bottom of the tab and click the claw with the red thing in the middle, when you hover over it, it should say get, click that and it will want you to give it a name then click the tick and consist saved

Make up the consist, now the icon (1 of 2 at the top) you've been using is for single items, select the right hand 1, for complete consists. Use the get tool and a box with new consist will appear. Name consist as you like, close box and that consist will be available for all your routes and sessions.

I was able to go back into the session (Edit Session) and select each train consist I had made, do what you had instructed and able to give each train a name and save it for the future. What a time savings this will be!
