No response from the keyboard TS09 SP4

G’Day All, I have TS09 SP4 and it has been going very well until yesterday when in surveyor and driver there was no response from the keyboard. Other versions are working OK so it has to be in TS09, has anyone any ideas how to fix this or will it be a case of re install?

If you know or can find the keyboard driver file, you can probably fix it.

I had the same problem and fixed it. I'll have to reflect a little before I post you the reply, because it was on my other computer. I thing it was in the config of the program load. Watch this post!

OPen the ts2009 folder and locate the settings folder and open it. Highlight the keyboard.txt file and copy. Go back to the ts2009 folder and locate and open the user data folder. Open the settings folder in it, and past the keyboard text folder there. That's how I cured mine. The original keyboard .txt had got lost, corrupted, ar lost.

Thanks a million chrisjohn. After a recent EDR, among other problems I lost most of the keyboard functions in 2009. Following your suggestion I went to the settings folder to find the keyboard.txt file. Surprise!, there was no keyboard.txt file present. Fortunately, I also have TRS 2006. A quick copy and paste of keyboard.txt from 06 to 09 and all my keyboard functions have returned. Many thanks for your able assistance.
