No Path To Selected Desination

Look for a break in the track, a bad join, sometimes difficult to spot but driving the track should reveal it. Also look for or a missing / broken Junction lever (missing or double red arrows).

Yea I checked to the entire area to see if I get the same response and luckily I don't it's just from the end of the Layover yard for the trains to the main Line so I will check it over tonight!!

If you can drive the path then it isn't a track problem. Check what Shane is saying. Look at the path you want the train to take in Surveyor and see if there is a yellow directional marker pointing the wrong way. When you use the driver command "Drive to ..." you are telling the AI to drive the train and the AI will not go through a yellow marker pointing the wrong way to your intended direction of travel.

Whenever I get this problem its usually a missing switch lever. Seems to occur when moving track around. I think it can also be a problem if a lever gets moved too far from its switch.

Hi,
It can be a pain to locate the cause of this error message.
To make it easier to locate put a red track mark in about the center of the section of track causing the problem then tell the AI driver 'Drive to Trackmark X'.
If he happily sets off the problem is in the last half of the track section, if he still refuses to drive it is in the first half of the track.
Delete the track mark and put another track mark in the middle of the suspect section and keep repeating until you only have a short section of track to check.

Oh! Another thing to try is to to send a AI train from the other end of the faulty track section, if he can drive it OK then look for directional arrows and other signaling problems.

I use this along with having the AI drive up to the area where they will refuse to go any farther. At that point I take over and start driving slowly. Usually a missing switch lever, or broken track will cause the train to derail. If it's a direction marker, well they can be tricky because you'll see it one way when it's really the opposite because your mind begins to play tricks on you, especially if you've been at it for quite some time.
