No Highway Trafic TRS2009

I building my first layout with 09 and can't get any traffic to show on the highways. I've built several layouts with 04, so I'm aware of how to toggle traffic on and off. I've tried several different types of roads. I've used the same roads that have traffic in the built-in layouts.

Traffic seems to run just fine in the built-in layouts. Am I missing something?

have you chosen a region like usa, uk ect?

Surveyor is set to Default Region,<kuid:-1:78032> which doesn't have any cars.
Edit the config.txt file of your route change the region kuid to one that has
cars, such as,
Australia,<kuid:-1:7801>
United Kingdom,<kuid:-1:7803>
United States,<kuid:-1:7804>
Germany,<kuid:-1:7808>
France,<kuid:149301:1003>
HP-Trainz Region Elbtal,<kuid:68787:1266>
SDW.2.1 Region Thuringen Romantik,<kuid2:121616:100901:1>
PTP Region,<kuid:151900:1>

For future route building, change the region when you start Surveyor.

Selection of the region was the problem. Everything works fine now. Thanks for all the help.
