no-go junction

Totally stumped! Cannot get a loco to drive through a junction except manually.
I've scrapped every item and moved it 100 metres, checked layers etc and still the stupid thing sits there.
This is in TRS19 and I have imported it into TRS22 :(
Such a simple thing but has me baffled.
Edit: There is a trackmark immediately after the junction....

Check the driver messages. You can scroll through the message history to see what's been going on.

This type of behavior with the AI usually occurs if there's a track issue, direction marker facing the wrong way, or un-signaled track with a junction facing the against the driver's path.

Thanks for the advice, what puts me off is the fact the heavier trains with two or more locos pass through unimpeded. I'll check those once again.
I tried running '22 on the laptop, it ran, but the cpu was at 100%, '19 has no chance as it uses double the cpu power. (the fans give a clue also).

Found it! After hours of frustration, it was a direction marker facing inwards as you predicted, about a mile ahead.
The multi-head consists trampled on it as did the target consist when eased past the junction.
Thanks. Fooled me by being just the one consist being held up.
