No access to DLS or Planet Auran from Internet

Just call my Captain Rude
Good morning Aussie time

I was trying to check the current status of some unloaded content but it seems that both the DLS and Planet Auran are not assesable from the internet at this time

There must've been a reboot or something because the forums just came back for me a few minutes ago. I started to get sweaty palms and hot flashes not being able to login here! :)

The black pages are working now so that must've been down at the same time due to unexplained technical difficulties. This reminds me of the old days when local TV stations would go off the air during the more important programs such as Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, or Warner Brother's Bugs Bunny cartoons. In the middle of the program, the test pattern would come up and the TV would then have snow.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

- ah, I remember that one. I forget the name of the submarine itself, but the short-tempered young captain was Lee Crane if I recall correctly. They spent most of their time lurching from side to side as the ship was rocked by explosions of one sort or another and the acting was every bit as bad as in Star Trek. The sub was futuristic, but as always, predictions of what things will look like in 'the future' turn out to be quite wrong. I'm still waiting for Jetson-type flying bubble cars...and a 3 day working week made possible by all the modern labor-saving devices....

I used to watch the show when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I was fascinated by the submarine and all the special effects that we can laugh at today. I remember the lurching and rolling and the sea monster that came in through the air vent in one show. :)

Around the same time in 1964, I went to the New York World's Fair and saw the General Electric City of the Future exhibit. They had neat models of monorails and tall skyscrapers, and Ford Motor Company had their new cars decked out that we could ride in through the city. The steering wheel was locked, but I got to drive anyway. I remember an older couple riding in the car with my mom, dad and me. The old man had a hat on and his wife was chewing gum.

It's funny what we remember.
