What are the improvements of the new Forum, and what changes do you all see ?
Myself ... I find light powder blue type very hard to read (uncomplimentary colors, with no contrast), and the vast amount of white on the pages is a bit blinding.

I think I may have noticed two problems though:
Does the text on the homepage seem smaller?
Also, the site is still running on the same, awful sluggish servers. It actually seems a bit worse now. When I posted the above post, it was originally too short, but it took about 5-10 seconds to even get a warning that my post needs to be at least 10 characters. Then, when I edited the post, it took about the same amount of time for the post to go through.
I hope N3V/Auran wasn't thinking that a forum upgrade would result in a performance upgrade, because even I could have told them that wasn't gonna happen.
Otherwise, not bad.

The colors are most certainly blinding...Took my eyes a few seconds to adjust to even be able to make out the gibberish on the screen...and I have 20/20 vision...I can't imagine someone who has poor vision....

The time line has disappeared – great for the egalitarians.
It’s now only possible to review members’ details when logged in. Good move! I thought it was far too public with the old system.
Posting images is a bit messy. The small edit box fills with the completed image rather than the code making it a bit difficult the place any surrounding text.
The pale blue type does seem a bit bright. Isn’t the background “white” also a lot brighter? I thought the paler blue old screen background was a bit less intense. I can foresee late night headaches with looking at the screen for long periods. Google search screen has the same effect, but at least you don’t spend too long with that one compared with Forum use.

Wow guys, the forum came back when I was browsing the internet elsewhere! Arrrgh!
I already see a few vBulletin4 characteristics (I am a member of another forum that uses vB4).
Not sure how much I'll like the Quick Reply box coming up when I want to quote a post.
I see theystill haven't fixed the forum clock being 15 minutes ahead of the correct time.
Nice to see that the smiley set is the same.

Actually, there are are a few new smilies, but nothing to post home about. I really am not pleased the "Top" button doesn't work, and whether you choose "Reply to Thread" or just "Reply" it seems to be a crap shoot if you'll get the "quick reply" window, or the regular window. Most of the time it's the quick reply window.
I can't say I care for the new forums overall, the colors are bad, some links are missing, and the rest doesn't seem to work right. Perhaps they still have some tweaking to do, at least I hope that's the case.
