Nexusdj Class 321 missing dependencie

the age of the train
Hello and thank you to anyone who can help me out...

I downloaded last night the Class 321 London Midland set of four rolling stock made by Nexusdj, however I think it's the DTSO, has a missing dependencie and it does not show up on the Download Station...

I think I know what the missing dependencie is, because the unit does not have a pantagraph, which I believe it should have, and it's not listed in the dependencies list section on the download station and I thought I should alert Nexusdj about this...

The other units work perfectly in Trainz 2010, but the unit that shows up in red which is showing a missing dependencie has the missing pantagraph, I would be so grateful for anyone including nexusdj, to let me know what pantagraph should be used on this unit.

Many thanks in advance

The MSO uses the pantograph (Remapped BW High speed pantograph kuid:45317:101573) and its up on the DLS (3094 downloads at last count)

I've checked all the required dependencies and they are ALL on the DLS .

The problem maybe with the "No Enginesound" content kuid:1094:53001 . this is Trainz Service Pack 3 content so make sure you have that button ticked on the DLS search .

Many thanks Nexusdj for your reply,

I did download the "No Enginesound" kuid, but it did not work properly, and with you mentioning Trainz Service pack 3, I done a check, and it's for Trainz 2004 only, I'm using Trainz 2010, so this is were the problem was, I was wondering can I attach a Class 81 or 85 pantagraph to the consist to make it work right, or would it be the wrong height, If I did this, it would be for my personal use only.

Also, can you tell me if you are planning on upgrading this unit in the future to work in Trainz 2010, because if you are, then I might as well wait until a new one is made...

Many thanks once again nexusdj for your valuable time and help, and by the way your content is superb.

Can you let me know which Kuid is either missing or broken as you say the "no enginesound" wont work but then you go on to mention the pantograph ?

I'm currently using 2009 and as such all my current content is passed for working up to that version but NOT in 2010.

There's been a couple of reported problems with the pantograph in trainz 2004 but no reports (up to yet) of any problems in TC3, 2009 and 2010 .

As a work round try replacing the "No Enginesound" with "dummy engine Sound" kuid:123588:53000 (for 2004) which is on the DLS but is showing as built in with 2009 (not sure 2010)

As for the pantograph try changing the entry from kuid:45317:101573 to kuid:84860:57221 (strings original) but be warned that is for trainz 1.3 !!!

Hi Nexusdj, thank you for getting back in touch with me,

I am sorry, I think there were crossed lines, I thought the "No Enginesound" had a pantagraph attachment within it, with you mentioning in your previous post, there maybe a problem with "No Enginesound", I thought this might have been the problem with the missing pantagraph, with regards to "No Enginesound" there are no problems with this, it's just a missing pantagraph I am having problems with.

I have clicked on the following London Midland rolling stock which has been causing me problems, the kuid number I am having difficulty with is this 45317:101573, I assume this is the missing pantagraph that is not showing in Trainz 2010, I see you have mentioned the same kuid number as me, I will give your new Pantagraph a go, and I will let you know how I get on.

All your Class 321 London Midland assets do report warnings in Trainz 2010, with the following message - "This asset requires a shadow mesh, but the mesh table does not contain one", I assume this is to do with shadows, I can cope with no shadows from my trains, but I thought it would be best for you to know this, just in case anyone else asks why your London Midland stock shows warnings...

Many thanks once again for your valuable help, and I will let you know how I get on with the new Pantagraph kuid you have sent me.

Many thanks

Hello Nexusdj,

I found the BR Breknell willis pantagraph from the DLS and I imported it into my Trainz 2010, I went into the config files of your London Midland MSO, and changed the Pantagraph kuid numbers and replaced them with the new BR Breknell Willis one,

Once I import the new MSO into Trainz, I got this message - Failed to commit changes to asset <Kuid:45317:1972> due to database error - I never touched this kuid, but it's reporting this wierd message. If I revert it back to it's origional, then all information in the config file reverts back to the previous kuid list.

If it's too much trouble to be fixed, then do not worry, I will make do with what I have got, and I'll just wait for an updated version in the near future.

Many thanks Nexusdj for looking into this for me.
