Newbie Stuck at signals please help

Hello,
This trainz 2010 is brilliant I am having lots of fun with it, however I am stuck on my 1st route lol.

Apollo Bay I am just supposed to control just the locomotive and go to Vermont station. However just before the station I am stuck at red signals and there is a train in the distance waiting for me. If I go through the red signal the scenario ends. I have waited here at the signals for 30 minutes and still nothing. What am I supposed to do to get the signal to turn green. Any help wouldat be appreciated

Also on Banks Heath, again points are done for you but I have got stuck at signals which are all at amber where the singal track merges into 4 lines.
If I go through the signal the scenario ends. But i have been here for over 30 minutes again.

To Auran,

I too was stuck on Banks Heath for over an hour. I ran the scenario 4 times before giving up and checking this forum.

I am really dissapointed to find the problem has been in this scenario for sometime and Auran have not bothered to fix it. Because this scenario ships with Trainz I would have expected it to work, otherwise why bother including it at all as it is only going to annoy beginners who think they are doing something wrong.

Apart from this dissapointment, I am really happy with Trainz, the last version I had was 2004 or something like that. (I didn't really get into it back then)

Can anybody point me to scenarios that do work that I can download are aimed at people new to Trainz?

If you still have TRS2004, Razorback has some excellent scenarios for TRS2004 and TRS2006.
