Newbie question

This is going to sound like a stupid question to all you old hands, but to a newbie like me, I need a bit of clarification.

I've just started getting stuff from the DLS, and on the dropdown menu in the search it shows both scenarios and sessions.

Are those the same thing with different names?

I've just installed the Watsek & Kankakee route and the Florida East Coast Railway (by MSGSapper)

I see there are no sessions for them, so I'm not sure how to proceed, (but I'll work on it).

I couldn't find any sessions for either of his routes, does anyone know of any? (I'm sure not skilled enough to make sessions (or scenarios).

as far as I know he doesnt have any session's i also have the Florida East Coast Railway and doesnt have any session

STANFITZ......Start up Trainz....Click on Routes....Open the route you want to create your session in by clicking on it. Now click on Edit Route. Click on the Trainz tab or press F7.
Select a engine and then click on the track which will make the engine show up. If you do nothing else this will create a SESSION. Now click on SAVE or SAVE AS. Now click on Exit Surveyor.
Now you can click on SESSIONS. I suggest you click on DCC mode and you find your engine all ready to go.

Anyway, this is the way i have done it in the past. I like to use Save As... and save it under the same layout name.
Im sure others have a different way of doing it.

Actually Create Session is better than Edit Route, if the route has any sessions saving the route even with the same name will give it a different KUID number.

I agree, stick to creating and editing sessions not the route.
