Newbie - How do I register my serial number and download items?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Trainz as some of you know. Just wondering how I register my game serial number and how do you download and install items from the download station? Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Scammell23.

Welcome to the Trainz forums. You will find the forums can be very helpful for all sorts of questions.

To register your serial number click on the "My Trainz" button at the top of this page, in the new page that will open click on "serial number" you will then see a line of blank boxes, type your serial number into these boxes and click on submit.

Do watch you don't mix up zero and oh or one and eye.

Register here https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN_Enter_Serialnumber.php login using the same username and password as you use for Trainz and the forum

Once it's registered you should be able to just use Content Manager, highlight an item, right click and download should install automatically assuming no problems.

Or you could use the Download Station https://www.auran.com/DLS/ which enable you to download by ftp or to the download helper, by ftp you have to install the cdp yourself in content manager probably better to just use Content manager to start with.

Where do you actually find this serial number?. Its not in my email, I just bought and am downloading T:ANE. Its not on Sim Central on my order either.

Some versions of T:ANE don't come with a serial number - yours may be one of them. It is appearing next to your username though.
