New Trainz addict

Is there a sticky or page with general guides explaining where to put stuff that I download off of net? Would like to add new routes and scenarios. I noticed some files where "kuid" where do they go? My first time at this game, nascar racer and MS Train sim. I do like Trainz better than MSTS.

Depends on your version. 06 onwards CMP will download from the DLS and place it in the sim automaticaly. Other sites you need to download and place the file in a folder on your desktop for ease of use. If the download contains a CDP file you use CMP to import the CDP file. If it is a folder containing the asset you use CMP to import content, in both cases only import the file or folder not the contents in it. Some will be in the open for edit tab, just highlight them all and commit.

I bought cd that had trainz, trainz04, trainz06, ultimate train collection. 10 dollars at wal mart
Only tried 06 so far
alot to learn

You will also find a guide there for fixing the most common reasons for assets showing as faulty.
