I'm in two minds about this, on the one hand, yes, it's annoying rebuilding the saved searches. On the other, it's nice having a separate set, given that the two programs are aimed at accomplishing different tasks - how useful will having 'Faulty Items', 'Faulty Dependencies' and 'Missing Dependencies' searches carried over automatically be ? They will just clutter up the surveyor interface.
Now, being able to designate a search as available in Surveyor, that'd be much better - perhaps a check mark on the save search dialog box 'Show in Surveyor' or something.
