New to Trainz 12

Hello all!
I just purchased Trains 12 and am getting the feel of it. I ran the few scenarios that come with the install, but I'd love to get more layouts and scenes...Is there a place where you all save layouts you have designed and they can be downloaded? I saw the download center in the app, but that looks like rolling stock and scenery elements. I also noticed that when I try to download something small, likea a boxcar, it never starts- the download box just sits there like its trying to start but it never does.

Welcome to the forums.

There are two main places you can download content - the Content Manager tool (by clicking Content on the Launcher) , or use the online version (which can be accessed using the Download Station button above).

Content Manager is preferable over the online version, though.

If you are having difficulties downloading, have a read of my sticky in the DLS,FCT forum.

I think we all fumble around when we first get started. I found Shane's tuts to be very, very helpful. You will find many great fellas here who will help you on your way.
