New Route

Hello everyone,

Apologies for the delay in putting this up. Angela sent it to me the other day and I have to confess to having got a little side tracked.

The route is available here - http://greateastern.org.uk - Its on the front page (to overcome the slightly cluttered nature of the site in recent weeks) and is a link to a zip file.

Good Morning Angela, before I go to download your new route, may I ask if you have utilised the 71 DEM HOG textures on this layout, similar to your other routes, WCL and Kent & East Sussex, please.

Thank you.

Hello ex,
No, I didn't make a HOG of myself with this one...

Let me know if you experience any hiccups.

Kind regards,

Angela

That's fine Angela thanks, may I ask something else, you state there are 2 versions, one with the VSR track, which I already have installed, but what is the other track off the DLS, is it low-poly or something like that please ??

Best wishes.....

Hello again Angela,

Managed to download everything, bar 3 items automatically.....
Tafweb's bus stop, kuid 1942:23005 has now been superceded by 1942:40003 according to his website, and kuids 81596:27000 and 81596:27002 do not have valid cdp's attached and the DLS won't download them. However, you can find both of these warehouses on the following website :- http://www.grabash.cba.pl/infra.html

Oh, and kuid 316:26027 is off austin316hockey's website, it's a fairground attraction called a spider.

So a really big route again, 1880+ assets and over 450 mbs, it took me over an hour and a quarter to download, but I only needed about half the number of dependencies, so everyone should need a lot of patience when downloading, especially if they need every asset.......
Off to play now, possibly some screenies to follow......:hehe:

Hello ex,
Thanks for that info, it will help a great deal.
I tried to put the TO file up but it's too big by miles! 108Kb, so it will attach to an e-mail if anynody needs it.

Kind regards,

Angela

Okey dokey, just a had a quick wizz round your newest challenge Angela.....:hehe: Love the birdsongs as you travel about and also like the beach texture with the ripples in the sand, not seen that before. I've put 20 screenies up on my screenshot emporium for those interested in seeing what they are missing.......:hehe:
You've done another splendid job Angela, hope you are giving your eyes the rest they require, before your next endeavour.

Best wishes and thank you for giving us so much enjoyment with your refreshing and entertaining routes.

Gald you like it

Hello ex,
Yes, I am glad you like it and thanks for showing more shots on your pictures emporium thread, they look good.

It is based on locomotive traction and/or the integrated 125's, so no overhead wires to clutter the place up, but if you feel the need please do set them up.

You will all need to remember to check that the Priority Markers (the purple ones) are set to 1 on the main lines where I placed them, the other tracks don't need them and remain at the default Priority 2.
As you approach Lake Valley station and on the left is an industry, the Priority Mark in there should be set at 3. This is to stop unwanted passenger traffic taking a short-cut....

To all, enjoy and investigate, there are an awful lot of things to find out.

Kind regards,

Angela

Hi angelah, echoing all the other comments posted above, great layout as expected from you,....with a few minor adjustments blackheath running fine in TC3, have run the GWR double end railcar from one end to the other,....nice scenery, many thanks again, look after yourself, kindest regards

Hello Ian, I've found austin316hockey's website address for the spider :-
http://jrh1973.110mb.com/steamcanuck/warehouse.php

kuid 71619 are trees and shrubs and can be found on here :- http://www.greenery.name/mstsg/mstsg.htm DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING FOR TRAINZ, THEY'RE SUPERB.

kuid 147131 is a German guy called niffi who created warehouses and loads of trees and other stuff, he put them into one pack to download from here, it's a big pack over 30 megabytes, but certainly worth downloading. http://www.mediafire.com/?ylmdmctfsjm

Is there anything else you are missing ??
