Just an update!
Here is the "fiddle yard" to store extra cars and locos, rerail trains, and unload cars that do not have a corresponding undustry. This is used instead of a portal to help go with the layout feel. (and for ease)

I've detailed the one freight dock...

Protocal Calls for the road to remain clear if the train will be standing for any length of time.

The yard engine pulls aside for #20 with the local passenger train before getting its coal.
