to begin i know that the screenshot doesnt have much sceenerey but the old locomotives that ARE sceenery objects and the fence and hedge on the right, soon enough i will have houses behind them

sometimse the simple things in life are the best! this scheme is simple. but to me it is handsome in it's own way, and i love how they turned out. and the reason there isnt much detail is because i forgot to download gfisher's houses, so i have a fence without houses, i gotta go after this so i will add to this after school tomarow.
About The Route;
The route is going to be about %75 - 80% fiction. I am basing the main line of my line off of the Western Railroad Museum's 25(ish) mile trackage rights, then i am basing the towns off my home town, Vacaville Ca.
one portion of the bike trails is an ex Southern Pacific branch, servicing the onion factory that was in downtown, and some portions of the bike trails run right along the side of the Alamo Creek, the trail runs right behind people's houses, i am basing this part of town off of those. i am going to study them for use in this route.
Detail And Scenery Detail;
I plan to have the fullest amount of detail possible, it all depends how much detail and spline my computer, i have learned tips and tricks over my few years here on the forms, i have learned about all of them from my best friends on the forms, UP4021, and most importantly, STEALTHSTEAM and SLAVE-DRIVER, they are very good teachers, and i have learned alot, and alot of that will bee seen on this route.
Locomotives & Rollingstock;
I plan to reskin as much as i possibly can for my uses here on this line, i want toreskin Slave-Driver's ballast hoppers for my line, and i probibly will, but they are hard to reskin. With all the detail he poured into them, it is hard to make shure the detail is still there, but i will find a way to do it

please feel free to leave comments and any advice is wellcome. So if you have any ideas and/or tips for me, please say so, i want this to be a good route, and i do intend on finnishing it, not like the last two i did that are on z-trainz.com
i hope that all have a good day.

Scenery, and textures are filler ... fliuff ... what really matters is track straightness, prototypical switch's curve radius, and gradients ... a P.O.P route is easily camoulflaged with fluff and filler, makiing it look better than it actually is.

Concentrate on trackage ... all the rest of the fluff can come later on.

Well, I hope your plans come to fruition, but perhaps you should add a bit more detail when announcing a route, lest you seem like a vaporware producer...;)
