New PC

I am getting a new PC next week. How long do I have to wait before the finished TRS2019 is released? I don't want to install the pre-release. Or should I go ahead and install it anyhow?

Whenever I build a new PC, the latest build of Trainz is always the first simulator that I install and run (as it is a great test platform for any system).
And since the latest build in Trainz is always a 'work in progress' with updates coming thick and fast, you should install it anyhow! :)

From reading N3V's literature they are looking at 4th quarter for the full release (although that will probably still be getting several updates as well).

I have been using the pre-release version since day one. I imported all my stuff from TANE and it all worked fine. It has been the easiest upgrade of TRAINZ versions in my opinion of all the releases. Some wonderful new features that take route building to a new level. There have been no CTD or lock ups. It certainly exceeded my expectations. I have never looked back.

Go for it.

@DAVESNOW, it seems not long ago you got a new PC, then complained of Windows 7. Time sure does fly!

Not me. My pc is 10 years old, and I'd never complain about W7. I'm not crazy about W10, but that's what I'll be getting on my new Alienware. I'll be okay I think

I had early access installed after I ordered the box version and played around with it a bit but uninstalled it and can wait till the box comes. This will give me time to finish a route in the new era for upload. Only want to uninstall the old and install the new once. So if you can wait for the official 2019 i'd do that.
