some fictional steamer i have drawn very quickly
a failed attempt @ pistons , cylinders, etc ,
but still looks good imo

been working on this for about 2 months,
had some diagrams of the front, side , etc.
i love it.
im thinking about making it into a poster or something! :)
used a cool grey texta to colour in the shadows
finally its finished

You just made my wallpaper! How did you do this? It's awesome!

I'd post some drawings, but my camera batteries died while I was railfanning today. I promise I'll post more soon, including some new 15 inch gauge. Sampug, I will post the pixel trains though.

Burntruss, that's awesome! Do you have any completed drawings that you did similar to this one? Looks good!

Very Good!

Burntruss ,

Your profile does not show your age , but you have true skills in graphics and art work , you should continue to pursue it ?
Actually this is the first piece of freehand art work on this thread that is truely worthy of my praise , great piece of work !

Simply my opinion --- ,DLR

worthy of my praise

Wonder why he's banned?

Anyway, here you go Sampug and others.

I also have an unpainted version of the Indiana Midland loco, but I couldn't find it right now. I had drawings of how I did it in 21 steps, but it got deleted except for the finished unpainted one and the finished painted one. :'(

What did you draw it with? It looks like pen, but I'm not sure, and how did you do the shadow? If it was a poster, I'd buy it!

I drew it with a 2B pencil, just easier if i make some major stuff up to rub out.
and the shadow was made just with some easy textas, grey, dark grey. etc

Would an "easy texta" happen to be called a "marker" in North America (I'm not sure where you're from.)

OK I'm going to give it a try, just have to find a good engine to do. Streamlined is a good idea though, less piping.

I wish I could paint old-style advertisements, you know, like with everything all simplified and "watercolory" and stuff.
