Hello all,

I'm new here to the forum. I have just downloaded TS2 for the Mac and I am loving it so far. I have a questions about creating my own route. I know that when you start your own route it give you a square to work off of. But I notice that other routes are huge. How do I expand the route to make it larger. I am wanting to model up the old Seaboard Everest Subdivision from Jacksonville to Savannah.

I have looked up youtube videos and most of them show how to create a route in just the one square given. Can someone point me into the correct direction on how to do this?

Thanks,
John

Hi John

Welcome to Trainz. To add to the square (properly called "Baseboard"), Open the baseboard in Surveyor, open the Topology tab (F1), and click on the Add/update ground section button in the lower left corner to high lite it. Go to the edge of the baseboard and click on the adjacent open space to add additional baseboards.

Although few people like to do it, I suggest you read the quite extensive manual that comes with TANE. (Hopefully it comes with your Mac version). You would have easily found the answer to your question there along with lots more useful info.
