i am half way through re installing it, i will see if it works now and if not i will check what you said

and another thing this thing does is when i try to exit the driver session trainz completely freezes over and shuts me out

Which version of trainz are you trying to use this in as well? I see it says you have TS2010 but im wondering if your trying to get it to work in 2009 here. If that is the case you do need to be at Service Pack 4 in TS2009....we'll look into this either way but like Justin has said its either something that didnt install correctly or its something script related.

yes i am attempting to make it work in ts09
but it is not going well as you can see
i beleive i am already at sp4
but i can check and possibly patch it if it is not already

Yes, check your version and make sure your at SP4. If not do that and if they still do not work after the patch, reinstall them, overwrite and then commit them. Then you should be all set. TS2009 SP4 is required for these to work correctly due to the scripting.

If you are not at build 44653 for TS2009, you need to install one or more TS2009 patches.

i have had problems with the patcher in the past

As long as you are patient with the process, and haven't cancelled a patch since you last reinstalled/installed the game,you should be fine.

why are you telling him to modify the config file? the assets are provided in working order.

my patcher is weird and does not let me patch to sp4
i have sp4 installed but it just wont do it

you just said you cant install SP4 but you have it installed.

the model is a lovely model, i guess i will just half to cope with the fact that this just wont work

maybe it wont work but it seems to be that you cant make it work because you cant patch the game itself. maybe try re-installing TS09 and patching it to SP4, then move all of your content into it.

you shouldnt be because there is no amount of correct/incorrect installation that will modify a config file. they work as provided.

judging by the screenshots the script is failing to initialize, which means either the version is not supported, or there are errors in cmp he isnt seeing, possibly even outdated train fx code.

there is nothing else that can be the cause. i know this because in the images the needles are all at zero value, the numbers are not initialized, the cab shell is not visible. it means the script did not run. that can only happen if there is an error loading it for some reason. it must be logged somewhere.

Actually, you are incorrect regarding the build. SP4 is build 44653, which is higher than 41844 (which is SP3)
