New Cpu

I wonder if anyone here could tell me if I can get a faster CPU installed in my desktop and if so is this a major project and not worth the effort.
My computer runs fine right now but I thought if I had a faster cpu I could keep it longer. I have 16 gigs of ram now and about a 2.7 gig CPU.
It's a dell xps 435.

I think you could put a faster CPU in there, but it would be expensive:

and may not be worth it as far as Trainz is concerned.

I guess I will leave well enough alone
This puter runs trainz very well so I don't know why I'm even thinking about upgrading.

Don't fix what's not broke.
