New Content! (There one second, gone the next!)

Hey guys! This is my first Trainz Forums post.

Anyway I have Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition loaded onto my iMac (I have Parallel's Desktop so I can the PC side too) and while messing around with the yard in one of my routes I made a few days ago I opened my track tab and noticed there was at least 30+ new items including track, tunnels, bridges and invisible track. Overjoyed and confused on why that happened I opened up my trains tab and there were a WHOLE BUNCH of new trains there, as well with the paint and objects tab. I wanted to see these new items better so I saved and quit and started a new route appropriately named "New Content!" and when I opened up those tabs again the new content that just mysteriously appeared was gone! All the new items were gone even though they were there just 10 seconds before.

Has this ever happened to anyone else before? *Note, I have yet to buy a first class ticket to the download station, so I have NOTHING downloaded into the game. I'd love feedback soon!

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Trainz!

This is probably a Favourites issue. If you go to your Rotes list and make sure that the star at the top is not yellow, a whole bunch of other routes should show up. And if you go to Main Menu --> Options in-game and have a look in there, there should be a checkbox for 'Show favourite items only'. Untick this and everything that's built-in should show up. :)

Also, if you go to http://www.auran.com/ and go to Planet Auran and then go to the Serial page and register your TS2010's serial number, you'll be able to get more help and download content from the Download Station (DLS).

You can check that your serial number registered successfully here on the forums. TS2010 will show up next to your username, like my registered Trainz versions show up for me.

Hope this helps!

Kieran.

You're welcome. :)

Now, please register your Trainz version at Planet Auran. It will pay dividends in the future!

The serial number can be found on the back of the manual or in the box if it's a boxed copy, or in an email or in your Order History, should it be a digital download from somewhere.

Kieran.
