New Computer Specs

I'm considering buying a new computer. The main consideration is that it must run TRS2004/6/9 successfully. the main specs are:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
Processor: AMD Phenom II 940 Quad Core with 3 Gh-8Mb cache.
Memory: 4Gb DDR2-800 Mh
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS250 1Gb

Any comments or advice will be most gratefully received!

A magnificent setup. Just be sure to get a quick hard disk to match (10000rpm SATA2 ones or even better SSDs).

Not sure about the price difference, but could you get up to the Nvidia GTX 275 card?

I don't know if it's as good as my brother's (he went nuts, over £1000 spent on his own custom computer which he built, but typically he's spending another £1000 odd uprading it at Christmas! )
That's a damned good computer, anyway!
My brother's specs (just for good measure )
Quad Core Intel Procsessor: 12Ghz
Nvidea GTX280 1GB graphics
Probably 4GB RAM
About 600GB HD (+ a 1TB ExHDD)
Basically this means that you can chuck any game you want at him (anywhere but the face ) and it'll run on full everything at about 100fps!
ME WANT! (wouldn't mind yours, either!)

jammydodger - you have a typo "Quad Core Intel Procsessor: 12Ghz" there is no CPU that runs at 12Ghz best is under 4Ghz.
