leeferr

thanks for the memories
I'm working on a coal tipple. It's a ways from being finished, but wanted any constructive comments. Thanks.

right now, it's just a building. I'm not much on scripting, but I'm going to do some research and see if I can make it interactive. I should be able to clone some scipts from another coal mine. I may need permission to do so. Don't know.
If anyone has some helpful comments on how to go about making it interactive, I'm all ears:hehe:

This is a very nice mine. Like how you worked in the truck loading spot. And if you do make an interactive industry could you please make it load ore too. I've been looking everywhere for an ore mine.

Looking good kiddo, looking good.

My one suggestion would be to make it nameable. Us megalomaniacs are always wanting to stick our own names on buildings! :hehe:

Cheers

Good thought. I'll do that.

Also, I think I'll make a version with the conveyor sloping up and one with it sloping down.

This looks to become a very useful building. I'd like to see a few windows and the roofs a bit rusty (if corrugated). Personally I'd prefer it passive just as an object, it's easy enough to put down a loose industry-track with whatever load of preference. Conveyor both up and down-slope sounds great.

Good work!

wow, looks great when do you think it will be on for download!?

Would look good on uk, usa or australian routes!!!

keep up the skill!!!

The roof is corrugated and rusty, but maybe not rusty enough. I think I've decided to make it a trackside scenery object and interactive track can be added for loading material of choice. I'm working on windows and other details now. Should be ready to upload sometime tonight or early tomorrow, but Auran won't be back until 7 January to put it on the DLS.

Here's an update. I haven't put the signage on yet, but I'm getting close. Any more comments before I finish and package for upload?
Thanks to all.

Looks real nice...but judging from your location and the time of the post, you should wait until later to work on it ...ok...so should I! I really do like it, though!

You are 100% correct. I'm a night person, but it's really time to go saw some logs. I'll hit it again tomorrow.

Thats awesome Leeferr!
Bah, dont make in industry interactive, because if it only loads coal, takes the fun outta things.. :-P
I have a perfect place i could use that for, as a quarry tipple!
Cheers,
Sean

Looks very good, but the "tube" seems to long, because the static. ;)
You need to support/strut it with pillars or similar constructions.
Just like a "Sprengwerk". (I don't know, how to translate it.)

Sorry, my English isn't good. I hope, You understand me.

Ok PL or lars track or M.I.N. Will work under it.

Hey if you can PLEASE make Std. Track on the top, So it looks like the Std. Track train dumped the coal and it went down a belt.

PLEASE. It looks good by the way.

You're correct. I intend on uploading a separate support for the conveyor so that you can place it where you want under the conveyor. I'll be uploading later today or tomorrow. Thanks
