New Aircraft

Hello Papou

I don't know if you are aware of this but in your post #2239 dated 23/11/ 2011 the two DC3's both have the same livery on them, they are both TWA.

Hello Pascal

Down loaded both DC3's in trainz 09 and 12 they are both downloading as TWA not as Qantas as stated. The tail on both have 2 red horizontal stripes and the reg no. on the right wing is NC17314 and TWA on the left wing. Don't know if any body else is having that problem. Downloaded your other Qantas jets and the Constellation no problems.

Joe.

On a more modern tangent,

Here's a teaser for my current project. Meet Larry the Lynx. He's one of the many animals on the embattled Frontier Airlines aircraft tails.
Vulcan already elluded to the new A319's in a previous post. The Frontier aircraft were the main reason I asked him to create a cut back A320.

Still a work in progress but I plan to release quite a few of these including a couple of Dash 8 Q400s.
Stay tuned.

Hello Joe,

You were right.
For an unknown reason, the DC3 TWA texture went into the Qantas model.
This is repaired and uploaded. The new cdp should obsolete the former one.
Thanks for the info.

The next aircraft to be uploaded early next week will by the McDonnel Douglas Phantom F-4. Australia leased Phantoms while it waited for delivery of the F-111s, and the second model is the US Navy version, as used on the carrier USS Midway.

I have set both up for carrier operation, similar to the FA-18s, with tail hook, folding wings, launch bar etc. In addition, you can select the missiles to be loaded to the hardpoints, the B key fires the missiles in sequence, and the V key flares the aircraft for landing or takeoff. Other functions require the use of the Aircraft Action Trigger.

For full details see my webpage:

Ian,
You mean this (below) USS Midway?

The floating museum tied up in San Diego Bay these days?

These were a couple of holiday snaps from a visit to San Diego some years back.
It's such an interesting place to visit & a must do if you're ever in San Diego.

Yes Rob, that is the one, but a bit hard to land on it now. A bit like Lukla airport, some obstacles at the end of the runway.

We got to San Diego Zoo last time we were there but not the waterfront. Now if you had been into reskinning back then, you would have taken all sorts of useful side on shots of aircraft and details? :)

Boeing 747-200 - Pan Am

Nice work on your DC-10s. . currently due to restrictions on DLS I guess unfortunately those are not available for TRS 2006. . .I would like to see those however. Would that be something you would consider releasing? Also would like to see the Boeing 747 released in colors for Pan Am and Delta (1970s livery although Delta did not own any of these prior to the merger with Northwest)

I finally finished the 1970s Pan Am Boeing 747-200 as requested by Georialonestar. Its technically a new model as it has no winglets & no spike off the trailing wing tips (Airforce one). Thanks to Vulcan for the modification.

I haven't done the Delta version requested as I'm having trouble working out what its meant to look like. Photos from that era are a bit tricky to find.
Pascal,
This older model could be a new outlet for you along the lines of your 707 aircraft.

Now available on DLS.
