... this could only mean one thing!
New English Southern Coast Module.
Set in the midst of Germany's Blitzkrieg on the British Isles during 1940, this small, and as yet incomplete, route features small seaside hamlets nestled into wide bays and rocky headlands, and all along the coast, fighter airstrips stand between the Luftwaffe and London.
Of course, there will still be room for trains on the map, but this route will mainly be focused on the planes. The airfield pictured is designed for bombers, smaller grass fighter strips will be added later.
Don't get your hopes up for a release any time soon. This will still take a while.

However they have very narrow beams, which would have been useless against enemy bombers of the period. Anyone know of some wider ones?

Oh dear, and the next one is a 727, no night windows:
I have made the 380s, 767s, 747s and 730s models into static models, unfortunately the DLS upload is not working at the minute, it keeps timing out all weekend. The only ones up so far are the KLM 737 and the Gulfstream. The static models have "static" in the title and the picture is of a plane on the ground, facing to the right, unlike the flying models, where the picture is the aircraft in the air facing left, just so you can tell the difference.

Actually Jamie, that's not a bad idea. I wonder though couldn't someone just reskin some planes (large and small) and leave out the windows ?

Hello Craig and Jamie,
It is possible to remove the windows while reskining. If you remeber a while back Iced8383 made a FedEx 747 and has appeared to have removed the windows in the process.
The difficult part (in my opinion) would be the night lighting as you have removed and changed the window paterns and but the lights would still be appearing in the orginal position. (Which I think is why Ian asks us not to move the windows around to much!:hehe: )

I forgot about the lighting. The crew would have to have some lighting anyway just to make sure everything is safe :hehe:

Great work from everyone, all the different people now doing some great re-skins is quite amazing. I (and I think Ian) am somewhat surprised at the amount of interest this area of Trainz has gained.

Hope5, I notice you only have TRS2006 registered, you realise that after the end of the month all uploaded models will have to be for build 2.7, Trainz Classics.
Static models for most of the commercial aircraft are available, and the new 727s are available, four versions also with static models.
The Rega helicopter is finished, final checks before upload.
