New Aircraft

Just getting back into building my own airport. I am using Vulcan's aircraft trigger but can't remember what settings for turning the engines on and off, could someone help me with this please.

Boeing 737-319 Air New Zealand

Still on the B737s from south of the Equator. The original plan was to upgrade Vulcan's B737 to a startup version but I did a cheap variant with the 'Pacific Wave' livery (it has the double sash across the fuselage). The Pacific Wave livery appeared in the mid nineties but the B737-300s only appeared in Air NZ colours at the turn of the millennium.

Around 2008, Air New Zealand started to paint over the sashes leaving the livery below. Not quite as interesting but a lot cheaper to do a coat of paint on the aircraft.

This asset will be issued under Vulcan's kuid and will supersede the old version (v2) which wasn't a startup model. This means the turbine whine will not flood your route in driver unless you start it up. I'm not sure whether he's uploaded it yet, but I'm sure he will shortly if he hasn't.

The B737-300 model has also been overhauled so they are both complete start from scratch re-skins. There is a reasonably extensive number of Air NZ aircraft now available on DLS. A sample of the modern Boeings are in the screen shot above including B737, B767 & B777.
Maybe my colleagues from over the ditch could post some more interesting screen shots from their airport routes.

Nice work Rob, will we good to add them to the fleet in Christchurch.

Haven't been doing much on the airport lately, been doing ground work on the middleton yard ( pic's below ) also had N3V ask me to send them the route, it's been throwing up bugs in Tane that I don't think they had even planed on.

Hi Gordon --

Excellent screenshotz, sir --- I am impressive!!!
Keep it up, sir!:udrool: -- If you need any testing, second pair of eyes, send it to me if you like, and I'll do my best because .... read below:!!!

As for me, I have a new born infant, one month old -- She cries, eats, and sleeps, but it's all good! LOL -- No time for PC at all -- And when I do turn on the pc, she cries for attention, like clock! work! LOL! Normally during late night hours I do some pc stuff!

You take care, G!!!

Congratulations, Ish!! Long life to her!

Far from the WW2 aircrafts, this is a Saab 340 of Loganair, with a brand new livery with a Scottish tartan pattern tail.

impressive reskin's all around!

Though i've gotta ask, is Vulcan still actively modeling or has he left?

Vulcan's still doing a bit for us. He had a big burst of new aircraft a few months back & burned out a bitI suspect. His computer then started playing up & he hasn't done much of late. He's been fixing niggles with some of the existing aircraft for Pascal & I when we need it but not much else.

The difference you guys notice is probably that Pascal & I haven't been as active (me a lot less active than Pascal). I've diverted my talents to Lego with my 5 year old more than anything else these days. I've been trying to upgrade the existing assets to TANE friendly and need to get through the large B737 fleet (not just mine either). They're all start from scratch re-skins so the incentive isn't really there.

Back to the ATL-98 Carvair. This one is painted according to British United colours.
For fun, I added the Rolls-Royce of Goldfinger, as per the James Bond movie.

Reskin of Ian's neat Alphajet: Colours of the Patrouille de France. This is the 2017 livery, used during the visit to the US, where they participated to various air shows.

I made the aircrafts N° 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

:udrool: Wow, I had no idea there were this many items available, you folks are really creative here, thanks for the great pictures and all your hard work..

 I'm adding your thread to my list of subscribed ones..........

Just uploaded Bell 206 to the DLS after some problems.

Noticed a fault in the skins for air force one 747, the flag on the tail on the right hand side is the wrong way around. just watch Trump arrive in Germany and air force one & two have this flag incorrectly painted on the tail.

Hi Gordon,

I know they were building new 747's. so could be that, that this one Trump's on is new!

Btw -- Great work, Everyone!!!

Ish

Last I heard Ish, he'd pulled the pin on them and told them to bring the cost down, the flag has been that way for along time by the number of pictures google found.

Google , knows all,see's all, reads all ....... must be a *********

Gordon

PS Bell 206 will be available in 24hrs, using Ian's script but only the height and startup work, have not done animations for doors
