New Aircraft

Thanks Bob,

Well, this remains a hobby, and it's out of question to do it for money..I am paid when users are satisfied.

I noted your idea for Icelandair & Tarom, I will see.
The 737 RAM is now available.

Now, I remain in Africa with this Kenyan 777. Quite colorful.

Embraer E-190 - jetBlue 'Barcode'

The painters have been doing their best. The first Embraer with a jetBlue scheme is being pushed back from the Hanger. This one has the 2010 Barcode tail pattern. This is N355JB, 'Rendezblue'.

Paul,

Rob's picture above reminded me that in order for the push back tractor to couple correctly, the a.limfront point (front coupling point) has to be underneath the nose of the aircraft, so this also makes a difference from normal traincars.

Pascal - thanks for the Kenya - looks like you're going for a full house on my list ?! - not complaining !

Ian - yes I realised that was the reason for the front arrow when I first coupled up. In my ignorance I didn't understand why the rear arrow was so far back. No problem!

Thanks again
Paul

Yes, Bob, it looks like!! Some more to go anyway.

Another very colourful aircraft: Nigerian Arik Air Airbus A340-500.

Well I've been reading that productivity in France has gone down but it certainly hasn't where you are !

I seem to have caused some confusion - my name is Paul Robert but some people I have known for years still call me Bob because there was another Paul in our group. I answer to either and inadvertently signed a post a few days ago "Bob" without realising so sorry for that....you can call me what you like so long as it's not rude!

Many thanks
Paul

Embraer E190-100 - Air Canada

Since I was doing Embraer requests, I thought I'd do one for myself.

Touching down on the cross runway, 30, at YVR is the first flight for the day from Cowtown (Calgary).

The Air Canada E190 has special significance to me as it was the aircraft that first bought me to Canada back in 2007. We may have even landed on runway 30 but I can't be sure.
I have a photo of the aircraft being pelted with rain parked at the air bridge.

After a number of flights on the Air Canada equipped E190s I found them to be really comfortable aircraft that the Brazilians should be very proud of.

Available now on DLS.

Welcome back to the painting factory, Rob, nice reskins.

I am after an Oman Air A330-300. My first attempt was complicated and the result quickly rubish...Sent to the waste bin.

The second one, with an other photograph, seems to be much better.

Bombardier Dash 8-Q402 - Alaska/Horizon

I'm just clearing my desk of unfinished projects before I start with new requests.
The Horizon Dash 8-q402 was one of the first re-skins I ever did. I've updated them to the latest Vulcan Air avionics in the same way I did with the Continental/United Dash 8s before Xmas.

May have to wait a little while for this one folks. Looks like Auran in their wisdom no longer except Build 2.9. I'll have to upgrade the build and re-submit...:(

Boeing 737-2H4 (Adv) - Southwest Airlines - Desert Gold

A blast from the past.....
A Southwest Airlines 200 series 737 waits for its United sister to land before turning onto the runway for take-off.

B737-2h4%20Southwest%2004_zpsfr8tgfl5.jpg

Southwest are the operators of the largest fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft in the world. The 737-200 were an integral part of their operation from the early 70's until the last one was put out to pasture in 2005.

Judahgrice. I hope this is the one you were after. The Desert Gold livery made it to a few of the newer generation of 737s but I'll get to that another time.

Hopefully available soon on DLS.

Yes, some troubles, which have been solved.
But I realize that all windows are closed.. This because I took a picture of the aircraft during the factory tests.
Need now to update the file.

All assets are now with build 3.7, as per DLS requirement.

Next on the table: Saudia B777-200 - should be easier.

Pascal

Hi Pascal - hadn't noticed that the screenshot had the windows closed. Not a problem though - quite typical at Heathrow for aircraft to be waiting in sweltering temperatures and the sun blazing through the windows :)

Will wait for your update

Thanks again
Paul

I could use these for any routes of mine that have airport modules!

John2002,
That's what they're there for. Please post some screen shots with the planes in action. This forum isn't just for posting new aircraft assets or troubleshooting. The screen shots help us creators get motivation to keep going.
