Dash-8-100's

It's not always easy competing against the incumbent player in any market. Especially when you're competing in the regions, and NZ is no stranger to challenger airlines.

The Dash-8-100 has been popular for several of these. I've just uploaded the last of these skins (Origin Pacific and QANTAS NZ) to the DLS.

Origin Pacific was the last regular user of this model, leasing them after QANTAS New Zealand was replaced by JetStar

QANTAS NZ in turn was a re branding of Ansett New Zealand when it was sold by News Corp.

Interestingly, despite all the takeovers and rebrandings, the aircraft all retained registrations in the ZK-NEx series (which originated in Newmans Air, where Ansett NZ originated).

You can use these codes to find them in the DLS (or use the kuids)

ZK-NEU // kuid:591192:1029 - QANTAS NZ Dash-8-100
ZK-NER // kuid:591192:1012 - Origin Pacific Dash-8-311

EXISTING

Good work, MrB, as usual.

This one is a reskin of an Airbus A330, belonging to XL Airways. This is a low cost, long distance airline.

Gordon,

I see you still have stray USCG Hercs hanging around Christchurch. You should swap them out for the LC-130 I uploaded a while back. Come to think of it, I haven't seen the Hobbit B777 you asked for in any of your screen shots either.

Is this Trainz or is this MSFS-X? Any way, looking good in Trainz with those planes. Now, if they were also in MSFS or the new "Just Flight"...

Hi Rob, LC-130's have just replaced the old C-130's and the Hobbit is just leaving after its charter flight for the LOTR fan club of America.

Hi,

No flames, but Zero Gravity experience.

This Airbus A300 is used on parabolic flights and you can enjoy the zero gravity like an astronaut during 22 seconds.

You may book your flight for approx 6000 €. Very successful and fully booked!!

In the US, a B727 is used for similar purposes.

In Trainz, I dont promess you can reach the same result..

Nice work as usual Pascal,
I've been taking a break lately so I'm glad you're still busy with new projects. I think I got a bit burnt out and needed a break.

Gordon,
Glad to see some of my handwork around CHC.
