New Aircraft

Do we have a Vulcan drivable version of this aircraft guys? I don't recognize it. If we do, I'll have a look into it. What's the aircraft type & what's the company name you want re-skinned. I need some kind of a cookie crumb so I can find the right bits to assemble.

There was an aerial control exercise today.

A Royal Norwegian Air Force C-130J is flying low over Vesteraas.

The F-16s are flying over between Lindstad and Vesteraas.

But there was an accident today. One of the F-16s crashed into a Swedish Air Force (fictional) TP 84 (C-130).

The RNoAF C-130 am I trying to upload but there is a faulty so it have to wait:( I will most probably not upload the TP 84 because it is fictional and it don't have any special skin, only some small changes but, I might do it. Not sure. At last I must thank Rob725. Without your tutorial, I could never done anything like this. And thanks to Shaneturner12 for learning the basics of re-skinning. Can someone please do a Luftambulanse (norwegian air ambulance) helicopter.

If you don't got much do I would been thankful if the old skin was also made.

Yes, Rob725. We have a driveable version of the Eagle helicoper. Its Name is Eurocopter EC-145 Helicopter Rega Rescue Startup

Hi Rob,

It's an EC-135, I'll send you an email. I only have the static version still trying to learn how to animate rotors.
I will make a loco one day.

Looks like I have a couple of Eurocopters to do. I'll start with the "Eagle" because it was asked for first & it's a Nth American skin.
Pascal,
Maybe you want to do the Norwegian one since that's your patch. I'll to the Theda Star second.
Markus,
I'm glad the tutorial was helpful. Ian probably told you that the C-130 is currently getting an upgrade. I'm doing some testing at the moment, but that will probably fix your errors.

Rob, the EC135, with its particular tail rotor does not exist as a drivable helicopter for Trainz. Ian made the EC145, similar, but with a conventionnal tail rotor.
You may find at the DLS several static EC135 (from Google Sketchup) but hardly reskinnable.

If they are posted by me, then the answer is they wont be on the dls, if you are interested then send me a PM.

ZK-MCF will be uploaded to the DLS in the next few days :)

Folks,
Pascal & I are going to put the drivable Vulcan EC-135/145 re-skins to the side for now. The models asked for aren't quite the same as the EC-145 model already in Vulcan's hanger. They haven't been ignored, but you'll have to be patient for now. There are currently a few other fit outs being done at Vulcan Air at the moment and there's only the one airframe fitter to do the work. :hehe:

Bruno,
Great work with the ATR72! Love your work!

Markus,
You'll need to pay special attention re-skinning the C-130 and other transport aircraft such as the C-17 & C-5. The trip is the payloads or in Trainz speak, "products". When doing the British & Canadian C-17 re-skins, I also re-skinned the jeep products to match the air force. It's fairly straight forward but there are 3 jeep colours to choose from (maybe 4??). This effectively becomes a second re-skin.
You'll have to make sure that the C-130 (or C-17 etc) config.txt is altereded. The "KUID-table" will need to be looked at and new Jeep added; under "queues" you'll need to change both "product-kuid" (initial load) and "allowed-products" for each load point (e.g. Load 0; Load 1;....). If this is confusing send me or Pascal a personal message & we can help you with it. Maybe you're already aware of this but I thought it would be a good idea to mention it on the forum so that everyone was aware.
