New Aircraft

Uh, Google Earth Matt?? Look at some small Airports, then merge a few areas, but not JFK or LAX or Heathrow
Jamie

Jamie,

Well, duh! Why didn't i think of that?

No, seriously, why did i not think of that?

I shall have a look.

Matt.

Just downloaded most of the Aircraft, Airport stuff, etc that I lost. Also halfway through the reskin of the 747. Should be done tomorrow night, because the tail on one side needs a lot of work. I'm also going to make an attempt at replicating San Francisco International Airport.

Hey All
No Progress on Ode to Vulcan, Trainz is still broken,
Ian,
I suppose you'd like a Dam on the route??
Jamie

Has someone made a dam model Jamie? :)

Use the water (smoke) effects judicially, they can kill the frame rate if too many are placed.

Thanks Gordon, I had seen the site but not the drawings. While they are simple drawings they do give a quick summary of the aircraft sizes.

This was on MSN this morning. "Worlds most unusual Airports".

This is a real airport. The planes have to wait on the trains before taking off.:hehe:

It was on MSN.com this morning. They had a bunch of weird airports from around the world. I thought this one was the best for Trainz.

With all the great post on this thread I decided to start my own Airport. Thank you Gorden for all the ideas I got from watching you build yours. Ian and William thanks for just about everything I have on my Airport. It still has a long way to go, but off to a good start.
Wifes loving all the time I'm spending on the computer.
Anyway...here's some pics of what I have done so far.

I'm getting to the point of adding water around my airport, will there be any height requirements for the future Nimitz?

Hi Mike,

Go on to google earth and look up Gisbourn Airport New Zealand. The carrigers look like the senic express we have running here and they run a special with a steam loco.

The photo is correct the track runs through the middle of the runway. This line runs Gisbourn to Wellington via the east coast, they abandoned the line from Gisbourn to Auckland.

and would you like large fries with that? .................

It is fine to ask for something, and it must be realistic????? but if you can't
show a picture of what you mean or give some technical data as an example
unfortunatly I can't do much.

Sorry I failed mind-reading at school.:'(

Not related to the above.

PS Notice

After September 1 all my uploads will comply with version 3.3 (2010 sp3)

Cheers,

Bill.

Some great screenshots and work shown lately, congratulations to all.

I just finished my first test flight from Wagga to Cootamundra yesterday, just over 100km of track.
