New Aircraft

An airport in the desert! Good idea to avoid too much details around..Please continue.

Another Piper Cub for a circus. This one flies for the O'Brien's Flying Circus, in the UK.
These guys are used to land on a moving trailer. Who will reproduce this in Trainz?

Ian made a great update of his Airbus A320; and Rob just issued several Jet Blue repaints.

This one is operated by Middle East Airlines:

Hi Ian, have downloaded the piper but have come up with this error

Unknown Location: <kuid2:60238:51035:1>

Just thought you should know, I'll go into the config and fix the fault.

Thanks Gordon, uploaded now.

Looks like I forgot to upload it for my aircraft, I think I was tweeking the slow landing speed for that one.

Papou's aircraft are using an older engine config: Piper Engine config,<kuid2:60238:51029:1>

Nice screen shots guys. Keep them coming.
I see quite few of my re-skins there.
I've been off the grid for a while. Time to get back to it.....

Yeah, I have been missing the engine spec since you released the latest piper J3!!!

This aircraft was particularly tricky to repaint. Very complicated livery.
It takes now advantage of the newly updated B737 of Vulcan.

Happy new year to everyone!

This aircraft is looking like a toy.. Of course, it is coming from the homeland of Lego, Denmark.

Update of the Qatari Airbus A380.

Ian (Vulcan) has modified his model to allow lettering underneath the fuselage. This is a new trend for the airlines to write their names/logo on the aircraft belly.

Hi Folks,

Still churning them out Pascal. Nice work my friend.

I've been away for Xmas/New Year doing a bit of a trip around the South Island of New Zealand. So not much in the way of re-skin work has been done for a bit and isn't likely to while I'm sorting through about 1000 photos, posting them on various photo & social media websites & writing blog entries.

The one point of interest from the tour, in context with this tread is that I saw not one, but three snow birds (Hercules LC-130H) at the Antarctic HQ at Christchurch Airport. I even saw one of them take off for the 8 hr flight to Antarctica. I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to clear the trees to the south of the airport. At the ascent rate I reckon it would have reached an altitude of 500m by the time it reached Ashburton (100kms south). :hehe: Fully loaded, the ascent angle is pretty flat.

It was quite the buzz seeing them in the flesh.

Close with the re-skin?

Thanks guys; your skin seems quite accurate, Rob ;-)

This one is a Caravelle, model VIR, operated by United Airlines in the 60s. United purchased 20 units from Sud Aviation.
The aircraft is uploaded with dedicated airstairs, with the United logo in force at that time.

Following the recent upload by Ian, Vulcan, of its Air Inter Sud Caravelle 12,

here is the same Caravelle 12 with the colours of Sterling Airways (Danish Airline).
Coming together with a Sterling airstairs.

This shot is taken from TANE V1.1. Not very friendly, to date, with our airplanes...

I agree with you on tane Pascal, for some unknown reason you can setup your screen resolution the same and it looks like someone has come along and squashed all of your rolling stock.

This distortion could be a mistake..

I was rather talking about this:

The moving parts do not stick to the aircraft body or disappear.. You can also try an helicopter..
Some functions are missing in the game so far. Hope they will be implemented in the final release.

Hi Guys,

Great work on the aircraft. I haven't had much time for trainz lately and I am looking forward to T:ANE when it is eventually released. In the process of updating/upgrading computer for it.

I love the various reskins, and I hate to be a gimme pig, but was wondering if any of you aircraft reskiners would be able to make a reskin of the QANTAS Boeing 737-800 VH-XZP in QANTAS Retro.
