New Aircraft

Thanks Rob

I have plenty of other things to do outdoors! But today is a rainy day..

Pascal

I do understand Pascal.
Winter over here in Perth, Australia can be the best time to go outside. The sun doesn't burn us so much so we can be outside all day. It is the wet season here but it doesn't rain much so we still do outdoor activities most of the time.
Also, the winter in Perth is the best time to go surfing so we make the most of it.

Enjoy surfing Rob. This is privilege of the seaside. For me, near Paris, it's much more golf.

Blue Angels F4s are now available. Only the yellow missile has been re-uploaded, due to a version number mistake. Sorry for that.

Busy day at Jaxontown International Airport.

wow

Thanks Craig,

Static ones should not be a problem, will keep that in mind. It seems that to get what I would like for aircraft operation I need to build the whole system of aircraft, runways, and terminals.

This is the terminal progress.

Ian

Hello,

Sorry Davoaj, but those items are on the DLS only.

Today, I've uploaded to DLS, 2 new reskins concerning the French Air Force:

The E3 F Sentry of Armée de l'Air

and the KC135 of the same Armée de l'Air

For the moment, this KC135 can only refuel the FA 18, which is not part of the French Air Force. May be a Mirage 3 E could arrive one day !?!

mity22,

There are many aircraft available on DLS. Most of the ones posted on the forum thread are models developed by our fearless leader, Vulcan. There are a number of us that do re-skins on these models. There are both military & civillian aircraft in the range along with a stack of airport assets.

arraial also has a large number of models but they're set up a bit differently.

Consider taking a look at Vulcan's website to see what's actually available & how they work.

Hope that helps.

HI,

Today, it's a colourfull livery of a Boeing 707 of an African Airline: Air Zimbabwe.

Just uploaded to DLS.

Pascal,
You're still finding new reskin projects & actually completing them. Everyone else has gone very quiet, me included.....

Gordon,
Your Wellington re-buid... How did you go about adding the base aerial photograph to your route? I need to do a re-build of sorts to my Vancouver Airport & the photo in the background would be very handy. I have no idea how to even get the photo. Is that a screen dump from Google maps or something. How did you create the asset?

Cheers

Rob

Gordon,
When I read your reply I had little idea what half the words even meant. I've since done some reasearch & now have a basic understanding. It will take much longer to get to the point where I can actually follow it though.

Do you have any tips or useful website/forum links that you found helpful?
Cheers

Rob

In the payware section look up Transdem, it may help.
There is another way of placeing google earth pictures as baseboards and I did see it here on the forums so I'll have a hunt round tonight when I get home from comp's.

Hi

After some weeks nearly without internet, I'm back with some new reskins.

Today, continuation of the 707 saga, with one from the British Overseas Airways Corporation ( BOAC)

As usual, will be at the DLS soon.

Nice work as always Pascal. Looks to be to your usual high standard.

Everyone has gone very quiet of late. At least you're still working on new aircraft.
I'll admit that my drive for new projects has changed a little of late. I've been more into route building than anything else in recent times.

I would probably get back into re-skins if say a CRJ-700, Embraer E-190, Boeing 777 or A330 were to appear. I have multiple projects in mind for those ones.
The existing passenger jets have been re-skinned pretty extensively. I've a few more North American variants but the major airlines are covered already.

Thank you Rob,

I am also doing less with airplanes at the moment. Vehicles and routes are also on my workbench.
Any news of Ian?

I concentrate at the moment on some 707's. There's lot to do..
