Need TRS2006 Manual

Where can I get the general operations 328 page manual for 2006? I understand that this is the only complete one available.
I do not want to download and install TRS2009 just to get the manual. That is hours of time.

It should be on the DVD. Either look at the opening menu when you start Trainz or explore the Trainz install directory. Try under Docs.

I hope to have a printable version of the manual for download with the next edition of the Trainz Community News. (Subject to approval by Auran). I suggest that you subscribe.

No DVD - downloaded 2009 & 2010. I remember the manual. For me it is good to show things I may have forgotten or never knew.
 
My 06 manual is the Extras folder....and I have copied it to my flash drive as well. If you guys want me to e-mail it to you, send me a PM and I will shoot if off to y'all.
 
Decided to look in a stack of old programs. I thought I had tossed TS2006 but found the DVD. Will get the manual from there. Need to install since the CAB file seems to have a secret encoding scheme.
 
The differences between the manual on the disk and the one I hope to offer are:
  • Re-paginated so that it prints back to back on A5 paper. Not possible with the current version.
  • All unnecessary background graphics removes so that you don't waste all your coloured ink.
Other than that, it's identical in every way.

I wrote to the help desk asking if I could give a copy of a repaginated manual (ready for printing double sided on A5 paper) to anyone who wanted it. The message was acknowledged and passed on for an executive decision. - No further reply.

I was actually trying to help N3V, but I now consider it just another one of those good ideas gone to waste. I won't be pursuing it at this stage.
