I want to turn the city to country USA route into something that you would find as a small HO layout. So what I want to know is, how do you make textures or is there any textures around for trainz that resembles like a wooden desk or just wooden planking.
Just a idea, I haven't tried it.
Find a seamless wood plank or plywood texture on internet.
Then use that texture to replace and rename a ground texture asset that you don't use.
You can do that for your own use.....
You may have to play with the resolution a bit.
Instead of trees and grass, you can use textures like: Forest1, Forest_1 and Boeshung Moos, as they look pretty much 3D trees/schwubbery from a distance.
The idea of a 4 x 8 plywood texture, sounds like a great idea !
