Need Some Assstance

JohnnyC1

Pioneer Valley RR
I presently have Trainz 2010, I did an install over the 2009 version. I need assistance with these items please;

Where is the content, rolling stock, scenery, and routes that I had in ver 2009?
I would like the routes I had made in verv 2009 especially!

How do you make smooth gradients?

What is the process of making copying a route so so you can transfer to another computer; ie a .cdp file.

Thanks.

Johnny

Most likely, you're just being misled by the 'favourites' system, above the list of routes, there is a yellow/gold star, which toggles displaying of favourites only.

Also, in the surveyor, the default filter settings are 'rated 5 stars', so not all rolling stock will appear in panels for adding rolling stock, scenary, track, etc.

You can disable the Surveyor favorites filter through Surveyor settings in the options menu.

As far as saving a route (or anything else) as a .cdp file, in Content Manager (aka CMP) select one or more items, right click, and select the "Save to CDP..." item. (If you have multiple items selected, all those items will be added to 1 CDP file.) And don't forget to include the Session. :)

Thanks for the quick reply's. I have removed the star from the favorites, where do you remove the rating system?

You can't remove the rating system, though you can assign ratings via CMP. If you mean disabling the automatic 5-star filter for Surveyor, it's on the options screen accessed from the main menu. Details on pages 39 and 40 of the manual. (For download only versions, the manual is stored in the TS2010\Extras\Documentation folder along with info for some of the new built-in routes.)

Once again, thanks.
Another question:
Are their any modern mechanical reefers available beside the what is included in 2009/010? Post running boards 63ft types , somewhat like the "Tropicana Orange Reefer."
