Need help to turn a TGA file back to a jpeg

Can someone tell me what is the best way to do this

What I had has gone wrong on me and I have no idea why.

I often do this and other format changes by opening it in my graphics editing program, which happens to be Serif PhotoPlus, and simply re-saving in the new format.

If you don't have that program, Irfanview or Gimp are good (Irfanview is simpler) for converting graphics file formats etc.

This is what has stuffed me up Irfanveiw and I don't know why it has.
