I've been trying to find some buildings that would be appropriate for a college/university. Any suggestions? The buildings can be gothic (like those found at American Ivy League and Oxford/Cambridge) or modern.

Look up on the DLS for such buildings as guild halls, country house, etc. They look very much like different college buildings around. Also Dave Drake (dmdrake) made some nice 2-d buildings that are copies of real building as well as some actual 3-D ones as well.
Look for the Colonial houses, and Williamsburg, and other historical buildings. I can't think of the authors who made these, but they are probably what you're looking for.

Colonial houses
I made a bunch of buildings based on the ones here in Colonial Williamsburg. Just look under Richo or check Governor's Palace. I can't think of the Kuid's off hand but I made a lot. I have a layout of Colonial Williamsburg that I used for creating Christmas cards a couple years ago. So there are a lot of buildings in that set. I also did some buildings for Harpers Ferry but they may not be what you're looking for.
